A large (approx. 2 1/2" by 1 1/2 "), one-of-a-kind cross from the very late 1800's. A precursor to Art Nouveau jewelry which was soon to appear in the early 1900's, this Victorian jewel shimmers with 16 natural freshwater pearls framed in platinum over yellow gold with fully engraved sides. One rose-cut diamond in the matching bail. Rare and beautiful.
