In its past life as a stickpin, this delightful pendant added color and lovely light to someone's lucky lapel. Now, the .80 carat pear-shaped gem ruby--with its irrepressible purplish-red hue, crystalline clarity, and glittering halo of old mine-cut diamonds--suspends from a fine 16-inch chain, perfectly fulfilling its new purpose of beautifying your neckline. Total diamond weight, .30 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1900.
