Hand crafted - circa 1900 - in platinum over 18 karat yellow gold, here is an exquisite candy cane (or barber pole) striped dinner ring set with slender lines of radiant red calibre-cut rubies alternating with twinkling antique round-cut diamonds diagonally arrayed over an elongated oval top. The ring shank is dotted with tiny rose-cut diamonds on the shoulders. A superb and striking original Edwardian jewel. This ring measures 7/8 inch by 3/8 inch. Ring size 5 3/4.
