ABOUT THIS RING
All squared up. The bright and lively 1.01 square emerald-cut diamond (a.k.a Asscher-cut) in this uniquely styled Art Deco jewel, by Cleveland, Ohio jeweler Markowitz and Friedman, is enhanced in size by its cool cornered prongs and is elevated by an intriguing gallery reminiscent of Greek columns. The migraine-edged, gently tapered shoulders shimmer with trios of single-cut diamonds, while subtle hand engraving on the shank adds the final dash of detail. Total diamond weight, 1.13 carats. Accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: H color - SI1 clarity. Hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1930, currently ring size 6 1/2.
