Art Deco 1.19 Carat Diamond and Synthetic Sapphire Engagement Ring - GIA F I1
ABOUT THIS RING
It's true, a fabulous diamond deserves a fabulous setting, and the dazzling white (F color) 1.19-carat European-cut that effervesces at the top of this ravishing Art Deco jewel has one. Die-struck in platinum, circa 1920s-30s, masterful hand-piercing creates geometric shapes and sweeping ribbons, dotted with tiny twinkling single-cuts, that lead to shoulders adorned with a neoclassical acanthus leaf motif. Millegrain edging and midnight blue triangle-cut synthetic* sapphires add the finishing details. Total diamond weight, 1.37 carats. Accompanied by a GIA Grading Report stating: F color - I1 clarity. *Original to the piece and used for their flawless clarity and color consistency. Die-struck in platinum, currently ring size 7 1/2.
