ABOUT THIS RING

Five sizzling white European-cut diamonds, together weighing just over 3.00 carats (the center stone alone weighs 1.28 carats), are accented by vibrant green calibre emerald ribbons and sashes of small sparkling white diamonds, in this striking head-turner hand fabricated in platinum around the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925-1930. Decorative piercing, fine milgraining, and hand engraving add the finishing flourishes to this exuberant Jazz Age jewel, measuring just over one inch long. Total diamond weight, 3.58 carats - total emerald weight, .25 carat. Center stone accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: L color - VS1 clarity. Currently ring size 7. Condition note: the emeralds show some abrasion.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
