Art Deco 1.30 Carat Diamond and Sapphire Engagement Ring - GIA E VVS2
ABOUT THIS RING
Spectacular stars fell to earth during the Art Deco era. One of them is in this ring. A glorious, dazzling white, and ultra-clear 1.30 carat round brilliant-cut diamond, graded E color - VVS2 clarity by the GIA, shines brilliantly in a galaxy of scintillating single and European-cut diamonds, all supported by a side gallery with a graceful foliate motif. Openwork shoulders twinkling with diamonds and accented with dashes of the deepest blue calibre sapphires lead to a fully hand-engraved ring shank, adding the final flourishes to this fine and fabulous Jazz Age jewel. Total diamond weight, 1.70 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1920s-30s. Currently ring size 6 3/4. Condition note: sapphires show wear commensurate with age of ring.
