Artistic piercing creates an array of crisp geometric shapes, twinkling with bright single-cut diamonds that form a curved navette shape atop this marvelous late-Art Deco ring featuring a special center stone. An arresting 1.51 carat teal green sapphire—with hints of blue and yellow—centers this dome of light, all of which crowns a lustrous platinum shank. A distinctive beauty (the sapphire is a later addition that replaces the long-lost original diamond. Total diamond weight, .35 carat. Crafted in platinum, circa the 1930s, it is currently ring size 6. Gemological report from the GIA states: No indications of heating. Tanzania origin.
