ABOUT THIS RING

A simple geometric arrangement can be quite striking. This Art Deco design, using only two shapes, is elevated by the lively stones that give form to those shapes. Appearing to be lighter in the center and darker around its edges, a 1.75 carat octagonal mint green emerald, set in a yellow gold bezel, gleams between two bright and chunky old mine cut diamonds in platinum settings. Millegrain detailing and a simple scallop design on the side gallery add the finishing touches to this cool jewel. Circa early 20th century. Total diamond weight, .70 carat. Hand fabricated, currently ring size 7 3/4. GIA gemological report states: Clarity enhanced. Colombia - orign.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
