ABOUT THIS RING

A bright and shining European-cut diamond, weighing in at 1.79 carats, beams beautifully from within a consummate Art Deco engagement ring, hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1920s. The scintillating stone (accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: N color - VVS2 clarity) sparkles spectacularly between a pair of slender arrow-set baguette diamonds embellished all around with 1.50 carats of small glittering old mine-cut diamonds, all accentuated with decorative piercing and delicate milgraining. The substantial fully engraved ring shank was added at a later date, presumably to replace the timeworn original (a common occurrence for century old rings). 3.47 carat total diamond weight. Currently ring size 6 1/2.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
