The surface of a ring is a tantalizing blank canvas and the jeweler that designed this Art Deco masterpiece (one William Barthman) created a beautiful 'painting' indeed. Crowned by a bright .55 carat European-cut diamond sparkling within a double hexagonal setting, the ring has a lacy filigree side gallery, intricate openwork shoulders--each twinkling with a small European/transitional round brilliant-cut diamond--and is thoroughly hand-engraved all around three sides of the shank. Your very own piece of wearable art. After all, one masterpiece deserves another. Total diamond weight, .58 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum,by William Barthman Co., circa 1930. Currently ring size 6.
