Art Deco .60 Carat Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1922
ABOUT THIS RING
The fanciful hand engraving inside the ring shank of this delightful Art Deco dazzler tells us that it was presented from "GJC to MFC" on "10-19-22". Now, a little over 100 years later, it's ready for the next 100 years! Starring a bright-white and sparkling European-cut diamond, weighing .60 carat, the scintillating stone is held aloft by graceful tulip-shaped prongs that seamlessly emerge from an ornately hand-engraved mounting (continuing all around all three sides of the ring shank), expertly hand fabricated in platinum, and enlivened on each shoulder with a trio of tiny twinkling single-cut diamonds. Delicate milgraining adds the finishing flourish to this dreamy original Art Deco dazzler. Total diamond weight, .67 carat. Currently ring size 6.
