ABOUT THIS RING

One of the most fabulous Art Deco rings we've ever encountered. A gorgeous 7.25 carat square-cut clear light blue (with a hint of violet) natural no-heat Ceylon sapphire is embraced on all sides (and all around the shank) by tiny glistening pavé-set old-cut diamonds. Slender rows of tiny calibre-cut sapphires that follow the curve of the shank add the finishing exquisite detail to this truly magnificent and unique Art Deco jewel, circa 1925. Total diamond weight - 2.75 carats, total sapphire weight - 8.00 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, the unsizable jewel is now and forever a petite and precious size 4. Accompanied by an AGL gemological report stating: No gemological evidence of heat. Ceylon origin. Condition note: several diamonds and small sapphires show wear

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
