Art Deco .78 Carat Diamond Engagement Ring - GIA L VS1
10-1-12132
ABOUT THIS RING
Although dating back to the heart of the Art Deco period - circa 1925, this exemplary engagement ring, masterfully hand fabricated in platinum, is as crisp and pristine as if were made yesterday. Starring a bright and shining European-cut diamond, weighing .78 carat (although presenting significantly larger from within its triple hexagonal setting), the mounting is appointed with every rigorously detail one would expect from the finest jewels of the time: calibre synthetic sapphires*, decorative piercing, fine milgraining, and hand engraving continuing all around the currently size 5 1/2 ring shank. Accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report stating: L color - VS1 clarity. A rare, radiant, and ravishing find.
*Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their color consistency and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts; the subtle differences are only detectable with a microscope.Details
