This rare and ravishing, original Art Deco jewel stars a gorgeous, vibrant, royal-blue, elongated oval sapphire - weighing 8.43 carat - accompanied by a GIA certificate stating 'No Heat - Sri Lanka (Ceylon) origin'. The resplendent 5/8 inch-long gemstone resides in its original home - a stunning Art Deco platinum and diamond mounting - circa 1930. Four diamond-studded prongs artfully emerge from the sides, serving as an inherent design feature, while the side gallery is exquisitely adorned with an open scroll pattern. Sublime. Currently ring size 7.
