ABOUT THIS BROOCH
Carved from lovely light greenish-blue amazonite, a sitting Buddha--bedecked with a finely pierced crown twinkling with rose-cut diamonds and a necklace that glints with a single-cut stone--rests upon a diamond-set seat at one end of this intriguing jabot pin, while two geometric shapes that shimmer with tiny rose-cuts create the complementing closing end. Cool karma. Hand-fabricated in platinum over 18K gold (Buddha end) and silver over 18K gold (closing end). Circa 1920. Very likely of French origin.
