ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

This thoroughly enchanting original Art Deco jewel, circa 1920s, highlights a placid, pastel blue Aquamarine, weighing 10 carats. The rectangular gemstone is artfully fashioned with striking scissor-cut faceting and fills an stunning, decoratively pierced platinum frame aglitter with 89 bright white old mine and swiss-cut diamonds. The pendant can also be converted into a brooch. A unique and exceptional vintage adornment in every respect. 1 and 1/8 inch (plus a 1/4 inch diamond-set loop) by just under 1 inch across. With its original green leather fitted box signed: 'Koch' Frankfurt and Baden Baden; hence presumably of German origin.
