ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

This glorious pendant is like a miniature Art Deco monument. Presenting some of the era's iconic aesthetics, it features a glimmering 19.00 carat clear sky-blue scissor-cut aquamarine crowned by an elegant pierced geometric element frosted with tiny old mine and single-cut diamonds, further accented with a sparkling bezel-set stone. Held by striking grooved clip-like prongs, the glorious gem suspends from an 18-inch chain by way of a complementing diamond-set bail. An openwork side gallery with a graceful scroll design adds a contrasting, curvy finishing flourish. Divine. Hand fabricated in 14K white gold, it hails from Austria, of all places, circa 1935.
