An Art Deco drop, circa 1920, presents a stunning 4.75 carat pear-shaped cabochon opal imbued with electric iridescent hues of green, blue, orange, red, and yellow and a mesmerizing play of color. Surrounded by a frame of scintillating single cut diamonds, the pendant suspends from a fanciful bail, fashioned in filigree and dotted with diamonds. Magnifique! Total diamond weight, .71 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum. Chain measures 18 inches.
