ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

This textured pin-striped locket by Carter, Gough & Co. is handsome indeed, and is quite unlike any we've seen. The octagonal holder of sentiment opens to reveal four hinged-connected frames which, when unfolded, currently displays what appears to be three generations--a grandmother, mother, and a smiling baby in a bonnet. When folded, the hand engraved front side reads," A testimonial of love to Louis Bernstein from Adith Joseph, October First, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty." The face of the locket is engraved with "LB." An extraordinary collectable. In 14K gold. Chain measures 18 inches.
