ABOUT THESE EARRINGS

Formerly the cuff links and shirt studs from an over-the-top gent's tuxedo set, this ultra-fine and fabulous example of early Art Deco artistry--circa 1915-1920 (with Austro-Hungarian hallmarks!) --have become a chic and stunning pair of drop earrings. Each of the four sections are centered with a gleaming midnight blue (verging on black) cabochon sapphire (5.25 carats total), encircled by small glittering calibre emeralds, surrounded in turn by tiny glittering rose-cut diamonds, all set in platinum over 18K yellow gold.
