ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

A rare and wonderful find. While, most Art Deco pendants of this style feature rock crystal quartz, this one gleams with a glossy carnelian-colored glass plaque. The richly hued drop--overlaid with a lacy filigree design--sparkles at its center with one shining single-cut diamond, is encircled by an intricately fashioned filigree frame, and suspends from an ornate bail that is a work of art unto itself. An uncommon delight, circa 1930. Crafted in 14K gold. Chain measures 20 inches.
