ABOUT THIS JEWELRY

Direct to you from the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925 (with perhaps a few stops in between), this consummate Jazz Age necklace, artfully hand fabricated in gleaming platinum, also separates into two 8-inch-long bracelets. The 16-inch necklace centers on an elongated cushion-cut cabochon emerald, hand carved with a flower design and framed in gleaming baguette diamonds, punctuated on the corners by tiny round twinklers. The centerpiece is complemented by a pair of diamond-dotted melon-cut emeralds, all of which are connected by diamond-set oval and bezel-set diamond links. Chic, sophisticated, stunning--and versatile--Art Deco jewels. Total diamond weight - 5.45 carats, total emerald weight - 9.00 carats.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
