ABOUT THIS JEWELRY

Enlightenment Art Deco style! Dating back to the mid-1930s, this extraordinary and exotic necklace is comprised of five colorful hand-carved coral roses and eight Buddha-inhabited links, dramatically colored in burnt orange and black enamel, to create this distinctively unique and striking necklace by Richardson of Newark, NJ, USA. It measures just over 17 inches, not including the length of the large central coral rose. But wait, there's more! Who are we to break up a perfectly happy 90-year marriage. Three more coral roses and four more Buddhas make for a perfectly lovely matching bracelet. Crafted in 14K yellow gold.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
