ABOUT THIS RING

Wonders never cease. Just when we think that we've seen every version of a fabulous Art Deco dinner ring that we could possibly see, along comes this. Using familiar techniques and stones, an imaginative jeweler--through skillful piercing--created graceful ribbon-like shapes, stylized leaves, and flowers and set them with glittering European and single-cut diamonds (plus one round brilliant). This stunning array of sparkle is accented north and south by a chevron of bright green calibre emeralds, all of which create the breathtaking backdrop for a flashing square-cut diamond framed by gleaming icy white baguettes. Refusing to relent, the enthusiastic jeweler then hand-engraved neoclassical designs on the shoulders and added fine milgrain detailing as the finishing flourishes to this exquisitely crafted jewel. Simply sublime. Total diamond weight, 1.53 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 5.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
