ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

Fabulous form and function. This beautifully shaped Art Deco pendant, crafted in mottled mint green and glossy black enamel, is decorated at its center with an oblong wreath—accented above and beneath with a bow—that shimmers with small single-cut diamonds. A striking jewel, it's not content to just look pretty but opens to reveal a double photo compartment waiting to hold treasures of your choice. Befitting its beauty, the pendant connects—by way of a diamond-set bail—to a 20-inch cable chain accented with light-green torpedo-shaped jade beads. Hand fabricated in platinum over 14K gold (locket) and platinum (chain). Note: in our gemologist's opinion, the jade in the chain is natural Burmese with no treatments.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
