ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

This delightful Depression-era adornment (circa 1930) features a shimmering frosted rock quartz crystal drop, hand carved on the reverse with a radiant sunburst pattern, suspended from a matching octagonal plaque - both of which are pierced with a small single-cut diamond sparkler. The 16 inch long necklace is composed of fancy lozenge shape filigree links rendered in 14K white gold. The pendant measures 2 1/2 inch long. A fabulous feminine original Art Deco jewel, and one of the nicest of its type.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
