ABOUT THIS BRACELET

Exquisite, unique, extraordinary, and indisputably stunning well describes this premier and pristine original Art Deco bracelet, masterfully hand fabricated in platinum at the peak of the Jazz Age, circa 1925. Five bright European-cut diamonds are encircled by overlapping halos of berry-red synthetic* rubies, all centering triple rows of closely set icy-white single and European-cut diamonds. Gorgeous! Measures 7 inches long. *Circa the 1920s-30s, synthetic sapphires--because of their color consistency and flawless clarity--were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, the differences between the two discernible only with a microscope and trained eye.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
