ABOUT THIS WATCH

A chic Art Deco bracelet and watch all in one. With fancy numerals, gleaming blue hands, and an elongated octagonal shape, the face of this watch rests in a case accented with millegrain and twinkling with single-cut diamonds. It connects to straps characteristic of the era, each featuring a row of glistening rectangular synthetic* sapphires bordered by single cuts that transition to black cord straps. An engraved scroll design on the sides of the case and bracelet straps adds finishing detail. Bringing back the simple elegance of turning your wrist to tell the time—in fine Deco style. Total diamond weight, 1.10 carats. Engraved with "MGB, Feb 16th 1938." Crafted in platinum, it has a 17-jewel movement and adjusts from 7.25 - 7.50 inches. *Original to the piece and period, synthetic sapphires were used for the flawless clarity and color consistency. Please visit our Jewelry Care page for watch care and warranty information.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
