Art Deco Diamond and Sapphire Dinner Ring
ABOUT THIS RING
Measuring just over 3/4-inch long, this classic Art Deco dinner ring from the 1930s is expertly hand fabricated in platinum and centers on a sparkling white transitional European-cut/round brilliant-cut diamond set in a floating double square-shaped setting turned on the bias. The center stone is enhanced by an intricately ornamented surround of small glittering single-cut diamonds, decorative piercing, fine milgraining, and hand engraving. A pair of deep blue synthetic sapphires (original to the piece and to the period) add a touch of contrast. Total diamond weight, .34 carat. Currently ring size 4 1/2.
