ABOUT THIS BRACELET

Fabulous light and lacy filigree work adorns this Art Deco wrist bauble dating back to the Depression era, circa 1930. The centerpiece sparkles with a central box-set European-cut diamond accompanied by four bezel-set European cut diamonds and a pair of lozenge-shaped synthetic* sapphires, while the bracelet links alternate with box-set European-cut diamonds and lozenge-shaped sapphires, creating a beautiful blending of blue and white. Total diamond weight, 1.00 carat. Crafted in 14K white gold, it measures 7 1/2 inches long. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, because of their color uniformity and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their virtually undetectable differences discernible only with a microscope.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
