This rare and ravishing Jazz Age jewel, dating from the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925, measures just shy of 2 inches long and suspends from its original 18-inch chain. Expertly hand fabricated in platinum in three articulated sections, a central, bright-white and sparkling bezel-set European-cut diamond is fancifully embellished up and down and all around with a plethora of small glittering diamonds and intricate design details, including decorative piercing, delicate milgraining, and royal blue calibre sapphire accents. Who can ask for anything more? Original Art Deco lavalieres of this caliber are exceedingly rare. Total diamond weight - 1.40 carats, total sapphire weight - .28 carat.
