ABOUT THIS WATCH

Two renowned companies joined forces to create this superb Art Deco bracelet watch. Highly regarded by in-the-know professionals, the New York jewelry manufacturers Katz & Ogush produced some of the finest jewels of the Art Deco era including the case and bracelet of this watch, while the Concord Watch Co. produced the fine 17-jewel Swiss movement. Measuring just over 6 1/4 inches, the lithe ribbon-like bracelet is composed of fine platinum mesh bordered on each side by small sparkling transitional European-cut/round brilliant-cut diamonds, which dates the timepiece to circa 1930. The intricately designed watch case is outlined by 30 small royal blue scissor-cut calibre sapphires and small round diamonds. Decorative hand engraving adorns the sides, the reverse, and the clasp of this chic, sophisticated, and stunning Jazz Age jewel. Total diamond weight - 4.00 carats, total sapphire weight - 1.00 carat.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
