Art Deco Diamond Dinner Ring
10-1-10912
ABOUT THIS RING
Cocktail rings were all the rage during the 1920s Prohibition period and were worn with great panache at underground speakeasies. After it was once again legal for liquor to flow freely, the free-spirited cocktail parties gave way to the more refined dinner party and to less flashy, yet still stunning, jewels, including--the dinner ring. This candlelight-loving beauty, with its north-south orientation, intricate piercing, and glittering array of bright European-cut diamonds, perfectly represents the chic and elegant style that endures to this day. Fine milgrain detailing throughout and engraving on the shank add the finishing touches to this Jazz Age classic. Total diamond weight, .50 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 7 1/2.
