ABOUT THIS WATCH

Dating back to the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925, this chic and stunning watch wraps your wrist in a lithe mesh platinum bracelet, bordered on each side with small sparkling white single-cut diamonds, culminating in the center with an elegantly elongated rectangular timepiece by the fine Swiss watchmaker, Glycine. The centerpiece is beautifully ornamented north and south with a pair of small sparkling marquise diamonds, outlined with tiny calibre-cut green glass, that lead to pierced diamond-set transitional sections. Fine hand engraving adds the finishing flourish to the sides of this distinctively lovely Jazz Age jewel. 6 5/8 inches by just over 1/2 inch wide. Total diamond weight, 3.70 carats.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
