Measuring a striking 2 1/2 inches long, this consummate Art Deco delicacy (formerly a brooch), dating back to the zenith of the period, circa 1925, sparkles in the center with a bright-white hexagonal-set European-cut diamond, accompanied north and south by luminous, shimmering, glimmering blue-flash moonstones. However, the true star of this stunning lavaliere necklace is the central louvered filigree work--accented with twin rows of calibre sapphires--framed all around by a fancy, intricately pierced design that glitters with an array of small European-cut diamonds and is detailed throughout with fine milgrain edging. Breathtaking. Hand fabricated in platinum. The vintage chain measures 17 inches.
