ABOUT THIS RING

Famous for inventing the culinary delight, Buffalo wings, and for its proximity to Niagara Falls, Buffalo, New York, was also home to the jewelry manufacturer White, Wile, & White. The company produced jewelry from 1910-1930, and their motto spoke to the quality of their work: "Makers of Solid Gold Gem-Set Rings in which the Stones Do Stay." This creation glows with a 2.20 carat deep wine-red rectangular garnet set in a lacy confection of intricately worked filigree, and supported by engraved shoulders, each decorated with a small flower. We're sure that it will 'stay' on your finger and look quite lovely doing so. Die struck in 14K white gold, it is currently ring size 6 1/2.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
