ABOUT THIS BROOCH

It's a shame that, unlike rings, you can't easily see brooches while you're wearing them. With this one, that's probably a good thing, because you would be staring at it all day. A veritable art piece, it is exquisitely designed with fine piercing, creating elegant geometric shapes aglitter with ultra-sparkling European-cut diamonds. The focal piece features a 1.35 carat deep royal-blue sapphire that centers 'petals' of marquise diamonds, interspersed by twinkling single-cut stones, all framed by a cushion shape set with European cuts. Pendeloque-shaped Burmese jade stones, each tipped with a square sapphire, add vibrant—and dramatic—color accents to this extraordinary jewel. Total diamond weight - 2.45 carats, total sapphire weight - 1.45 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum. French import. GIA gemological report for sapphire states: No indications of heating. Cambodia - origin GIA gemological report for jade states: "Fei Cui." No indications of dye or impregnation. Burma - origin.
