ABOUT THIS RING

Measuring just a tad shy of 1 3/4 inches by 3/4 inch, the striking crown of this early Art Deco dinner ring (circa 1920) sparkles with a melange of European and single-cut diamonds, artfully accentuated with decorative piercing, dramatically centered by a colorful column of gorgeous, vibrant green square-cut emeralds (together weighing 1.70 carats) set on the bias. The openwork side gallery is a series of fanciful loops perfectly complemented by the tulip-like split shoulders of the shank. It's like a fabulous jewel-studded shield for your finger. Total diamond weight - 2.35 carats. Hand fabricated in platinum with an 18K gold shank. Currently ring size 6 1/2.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
