ABOUT THIS RING

Details, details. Any way you turn this arresting and artfully designed Art Deco era ring (circa 1930), there's a pretty little something to catch your eye. The focal piece, a vibrant rich green double cabochon jadeite is beautifully enhanced by an elongated scalloped frame, sprinkled with sparkling European-cut diamonds and adorned with distinctive piercing work evocative of tiny butterfly antennae. Elegantly hand engraved acanthus leaves decorate the shoulders, which are supported by chenier tubes that also decorate the gallery. An exquisite, easy-to-wear finger-hugger. Total diamond weight, .40 carat. Jade accompanied by a gemological report from the GIA stating: Jadeite, Natural Color, No Indications of Impregnation. Hand fabricated in platinum, it measures 1-inch long and is currently ring size 6.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
