Replacing the ring's original stone, now a juicy 1.20 carat natural no-heat cushion-cut ruby of exotic origin (Vietnamese!*) glows in an openwork radial surround against an exquisitely pierced backdrop that shimmers with European and single-cut diamonds. Hand fabricated in platinum, the artistic assemblage is supported by flared diamond-set shoulders, while a lattice-like side gallery adds the finishing flourish.
