ABOUT THIS NECKLACE

We love Depression-era rock crystal jewels, and this fabulous one-of-a-kind creation by the renowned American jewelry manufacturer - Krementz is one of the most distinctively stunning we've seen. A sizable frosted rock quartz crystal rectangular plaque, hand carved on the reverse with a radiant sunburst pattern, centers a bright sky blue scissor-cut aquamarine gleaming between a pair of bright-white diamonds sparkling north and south. The pendant artfully transitions by way of an octagonal diamond-centered rock crystal to a classic, embossed link Art Deco necklace. A rare and ravishing adornment - circa 1930. The necklace measures 16 inches, the double pendant measures 2 1/2 inches.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
