Art Deco Rock Crystal, Diamond and Seed Pearl Filigree Necklace
ABOUT THIS NECKLACE
This dainty Depression-era delight (circa 1930) features a sizable rectangular frosted rock quartz crystal plaque (1 1/4 by 1 inch), center pierced with an ultra-lustrous natural pearl and hand carved on the reverse with a radiant sunburst pattern. Fancifully framed in bright embossed 14K white gold, the shimmering centerpiece is overlaid with an artful asymmetrical floral/foliate filigree design punctuated by a pair of small sparkling white bezel-set old mine-cut diamonds. This fabulously feminine lavalière continues with a matching bale and an original 16-inch chain. One of the finest and most distinctive we've come across.
