Black, white, and sparkling--classic Art Deco. Rimmed in gleaming calibre-cut onyx, an oval rock crystal plaque is embellished with striking stripes set with scintillating single-cut diamonds punctuated in the center by a bright .28 carat European cut. Adorned north and south with a diamond-set ribbon, it suspends from a lithe, delicate 17 1/2-inch-long mesh chain by way of a complementing bail. A marvelous mix of the era's iconic elements, this rare and ravishing Jazz Age jewel is hand fabricated in platinum, circa 1920.
