ABOUT THIS BROOCH

"A thing of beauty is a joy forever." As purveyors of beautiful things, we wholeheartedly agree with John Keats and include this breathtaking, original Art Deco brooch among those that bring joy. It presents a shimmering ellipse of frosted rock crystal, tied with an exquisite bow adorned with lovely diamond-centered sapphire flowers and frosted with tiny twinkling rose-cut diamonds. The tail of the ribbon wraps around the opposing side, adding delightful detail. Hand fabricated in platinum - circa 1925, with 18K gold pin stem.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
