ABOUT THIS BROOCH

This superb, stunning, and utterly unique circle pin (measuring 1 1/2 inch in diameter), dates back to the zenith of the Art Deco period, circa 1925, and is composed of three floral sections of bright cherry red buff-top ruby petals and leaves set with, no, not emeralds, but bright apple-green demantoid garnets from the Ural Mountains of Russia. Lapidary virtuosity! Sparkling icy-white diamonds complete the circle of this rare and ravishing Art Deco collectible, masterfully hand fabricated in platinum. Total diamond weight - 1.90 carats, total gemstone weight - 1.60 carats. Condition note: one ruby is a replacement.
