Art Deco Sapphire Filigree Ring
ABOUT THIS RING
A vibrant cornflower blue Ceylon sapphire, weighing 1.00 carat, glistens and glows from within a striking hexagonal top, supported by synthetic* sapphire-set shoulders and a fanciful filigree side gallery in this Art Deco delight. Crisply die-struck and hand-finished in 18K white gold, it is currently ring size 6 1/4. *Back in the day, circa 1920s-30s, due to their uniformity of color and flawless clarity, synthetic sapphires were considered a modern improvement over their natural counterparts, their virtually undetectable differences discernible only with a microscope. Gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories states: Indications of thermal enhancement. Ceylon (Sri Lanka) - origin.
