ABOUT THIS RING

A rectangle, circles and arcs, oh my! It's like a beautiful puzzle. In this ravishing Art Deco-style ring, a cool combination of geometric shapes set with vivid calibre rubies and icy-white single and European-cut diamonds, fit together perfectly, creating a striking pattern around a gorgeous, gleaming rich fuchsia-red 1.14 carat no-heat Burma Ruby. Pairs of rubies and diamonds on the shoulders and an exquisitely engraved shank add the finishing flourishes to this simply smashing Jazz Age style jewel. Total ruby weight - 1.94 carats, total diamond weight - .68 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 6 3/4. Accompanied by a gemological report from the GIA stating: Natural, no indications of heating. Burma (Myanmar) - origin.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
