Fashioned with an elegant elongated octagonal shape, the top of this chic Art Deco-style ring--shimmering all over with European-cut diamonds--is artfully pierced to create an hourglass-like shape. At its center, a glimmering 1.26 carat cobalt-blue octagonal sapphire glistens in a sleek bezel setting, accented on each side by a bright baguette diamond. A tiny stone twinkles on each gently flared openwork shoulder of this fabulous finger-hugger. Total diamond weight, .65 carat. Hand fabricated in platinum, currently ring size 6 1/2. GIA gemological report for sapphire states: Heated. Madagascar, origin.
