ABOUT THIS RING

A rich, radiant red emerald-cut ruby from Mozambique (natural, no-heat), weighing 1.42 carats, glistens and glows from within a bezel-setting in this strikingly stunning 2020s' rendition of a 1920s' style Art Deco jewel. Expertly hand fabricated in platinum, the gorgeous gemstone is outlined by a geometric frame of vibrant crystalline red scissor-cut calibre rubies, which are framed in turn by tiny twinkling single-cut diamonds. Diamond-set, hand engraved, dart-shaped shoulders add the finishing flourishes to this jubilant Jazz Age style jewel. Total ruby weight, 2.22 carats. Currently ring size 6 3/4. Accompanied by a gemological report from Stone Group Laboratories stating: Natural, No Indications of Thermal Enhancement, Mozambique origin.

About Art Deco Jewelry

Sleek and modern, Art Deco design brought jewelry into the machine age. Yet these stylish pieces still found room for the fine forms and lines of previous eras within their elegant architecture. In particular, we see many peaceful co-habitations of Edwardian and Art Deco styles together.

Jewelry Care

As with anything of value, especially sentimental value, taking good care of your vintage and antique jewelry from Lang will enhance its beauty and extend its lifespan. We encourage you to have your jewelry checked and cleaned by us or by your trusted local jeweler every six months, to ensure that each piece is in good wearable condition with all gemstones in place. It’s not uncommon for stones to loosen over time, and it’s much easier to tighten a loose stone than to replace a lost one! As stated in our Repair Policy, we strongly recommend that you allow us to perform any repairs, since our jewelers are specialists in restoring vintage and antique jewelry.
